Joseph L. Zito, M.D.
Dr.
Joseph Zito is a Board Certified physician in Radiology whose
specialty is neuroradiology.
After receiving his B.S. at Rutgers
University in New Brunswick, NJ, he received his M.D. at Georgetown
University in Washington, DC. He also did his residency in
Radiology at Georgetown. His post-graduate Fellowships in
Radiology and Neuroradiology were completed at Massachusetts General
Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Zito has been appointed as an
Assistant Professor of both Radiology and Neurology at the University
of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA, as well as Clinical
Associate in Radiology at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Additionally, he has held the positions of Assistant Professor of
Radiology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in New
York and Chief of the Division of Neuroradiology in the Department of
Radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY.
Dr. Zito is a member of The American
College of Radiology and The American Society of Neuroradiology.
Dr. Zito’s published writings and
lectures have focused in the area of neuroradiology.
