Julian Safir, M.D.
Dr.
Julian Safir is a Board Certified physician in Diagnostic Radiology
whose specialty is diagnostic radiology and MRI.
Dr. Safir received his B.S. at Duke
University in Durham, NC and his M.D. at the University of Maryland
School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. His radiology residency was
done at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and
his radiology fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at the
New York University Medical Center, also in New York City.
Dr. Safir is a member of the Clinical
Magnetic Resonance Society, the Radiological Society of North America,
the International Society for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and the
American Roentgen Ray Society.
Dr. Safir’s published articles and
seminars have focused on the areas of MRI in breast cancer detection
and the use of magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) for peripheral
vascular disease. His interests also include cardiac MRI and magnetic
resonance spectroscopy.
