Jed Pollack, M.D.

Dr. Jed Pollack is a Board Certified
Radiation Oncologist, specializing in the treatment of adult cancers, with a
particular interest in prostate cancer, tumors of the central nervous system
and head and neck cancer. He received his B.A. from Oberlin College and his
M.D. from the University of New Mexico in 1981. He did his internship at the
Cleveland Clinic and his residency in Radiation Oncology at Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He was an American Cancer Society Fellow in
1984. Dr. Pollack has served as a Clinical Instructor in the Radiation
Oncology Department at S.U.N.Y. Stonybrook and as a Clinical Assistant
Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Pollack has been
in New York Magazine's Best Doctors list from 1997-2004 and the Castle and
Connolly Guide to Best Doctors in the United States during that same period.
Dr. Pollack is member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the
American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American College
of Radiology and the New York Head and Neck Society.
Dr. Pollack has published articles and given
lectures on Radiation for Head and Neck Cancer, Pituitary Radiation Therapy,
and the treatment of Prostate Cancer.
