Edward
Perkes is a Board Certified physician whose specialty is diagnostic
radiology with an interest in breast imaging.
After receiving his B.A. at Yeshiva
University in New York City, Dr. Perkes received his M.D. at Downstate
Medical School in Brooklyn, NY. He did his residency in Radiology and
fellowship in Ultrasound/Computed Tomography at Downstate Medical Center in
Brooklyn.
Following residency, Dr. Perkes spent a year
as a Visiting Radiologist at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel and from
1980-1986, he was on the faculty of State University of New York and
University Hospital at Stony Brook where his primary interests were
Ultrasound and Computed Tomography. Since 1986, until joining Nassau
Radiologic Group, he has been in full time private radiology practice in
Suffolk County, New York.
Dr. Perkes is a member of the Radiological
Society of North America.
His
published writings are in the areas of ultrasound and computed tomography.
