Craig Merola, M.D.
Dr. Craig Merola is a Board Certified
physician in Anesthesiology whose specialty is pediatric anesthesiology.
Dr. Merola is the anesthesiologist for Nassau Radiologic Group (NRAD) whenever
one is necessary for MRI studies on young children.
Dr. Merola received his B.S. and,
subsequently, his M.D. at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University Hospital
Health Sciences Center, also in Stony Brook, NY.
Dr. Merola is currently an Assistant
Professor of Anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in
the Bronx, NY. Additionally, he is both an Attending Anesthesiologist and
the Director of Non-Operating Room Services, Ambulatory Anesthesia
Division, at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY.
Dr. Merola is a member of The American
Society of Anesthesiologists, the NY State Society of Anesthesiologists,
the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia and the Society of Ambulatory
Anesthesia.
Dr. Merola’s published writings and
lectures have focused in the area of pediatric anesthesiology.
