Geraldine McGinty, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Geraldine McGinty is a Board Certified
Physician in Diagnostic Radiology whose specialty is Women's Imaging.
After receiving her Bachelor of Medicine
degree at
the National University of Ireland in Galway, Dr. McGinty went on to
complete her Radiology Residency at the University of Pittsburgh and a
Fellowship in Women's Imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital in
Boston. Additionally, Dr. McGinty received a Masters in Business
Administration from Columbia University in New York.
Dr. McGinty has held the positions of
Clinical Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School, as well as
Assistant Professor of Radiology at the New York Medical College. She is
currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine. She has
been the Medical Director of both the Montefiore Imaging Center and a
private MRI center in the Bronx.
Dr. McGinty is a member of the American
College of Radiology for which she serves as its advisor to the AMA's
Relative Value Committee. She is a member of
the American Roentgen Ray Society and is its representative on the AMA CPT
advisory panel.
Dr. McGinty's published writings and
presentations have focused on the area of women's imaging.
