Joshua
H. Kern, M.D.
Dr. Joshua Kern is a Board Certified physician in Diagnostic Radiology
whose specialty is body imaging, particularly ultrasound, computed
tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Dr. Kern received his B.A. at the University
of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He then received his M.D. at the
Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and went on to complete his
Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, NY where he
served as Chief Resident. He then did post-graduate training in body
imaging at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Kern is a member of the American College
of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American
Roentgen Ray Society and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr. Kern has lectured on obstetrical ultrasound
and also has published and/or presented research on the following topics:
computed tomography (CT) of small bowel obstruction, radiographic evaluation
of vertebral body anomalies, fluoroscopic evaluation of esophageal motility
and complications of organ transplantation.
