Mark Gershwind, M.D.
Dr.
Mark Gershwind is a Board Certified physician in Radiology whose
specialty is diagnostic radiology.
After receiving his B.S. at the
University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, Dr. Gershwind went on to get
his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine in New York
City. He did his residency training in Radiology at the Mt.
Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr. Gershwind served as attending
radiologist at the Nassau Hospital in Mineola, NY and is a consulting
radiologist at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center.
He entered private practice in 1976.
Dr. Gershwind is a member of The
American College of Radiology, The Radiological Society of North
America, The New York Roentgen Society, The Long Island Radiology
Society, The Nassau County Medical Society, The American Institute of
Ultrasound in Medicine and The Society of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Dr. Gershwind’s published writings
and lectures have focused in the area of esophageal tumors,
diaphragmatic hernias, arthrography, gynecological malformations,
bladder abnormalities and breast cancer.
