Jigna Desai Jhaveri, M.D.
Dr. Jigna Desai Jhaveri is a Board
Certified Radiation Oncologist specializing in adult radiation oncology,
particularly breast and gynecologic cancers.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science at
Rutgers University – College of Engineering in New Brunswick, NJ and her
medical degree at the UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in
Piscataway, NJ, Dr. Desai Jhaveri completed her residency training in
Radiation Oncology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Desai Jhaveri has held the position of
Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Montefiore
Medical Center in the Bronx.
Dr. Desai Jhaveri is a member of the
American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the NY
Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group and the American Society of Clinical
Oncology.
Dr. Desai Jhaveri’s published writings
and lectures have focused in the areas of prostate brachytherapy and AIDS
– related malignancies.
