Paul Cayea, M.D.
Dr. Paul Cayea is a Board Certified physician
in Diagnostic Radiology whose specialty is diagnostic radiology.
After receiving his B.S. at Hofstra
University in Hempstead, NY, Dr. Cayea went on to get his M.D. from Penn
State University in Hershey, PA. He did his residency in Radiology at The
New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center in New York City and,
subsequently, his post-graduate Fellowship in Computed Tomography and
Ultrasound at the Brigham and Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School in
Boston, MA.
Dr. Cayea has served as an Instructor in
Radiology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA as well as an Assistant
Professor of Clinical Radiology at SUNY in Stony Brook, NY. Additionally, he
has held the positions of Associate Attending Radiologist at the Brigham and
Women's Hospital - Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston, MA and Director of
Ultrasound at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY where he is
currently an Attending Radiologist. He is currently a senior partner of
Nassau Radiologic Group (NRAD), P.C.
Dr. Cayea is a member of The American College
of Radiology, The Radiological Society of North America, The American
Roentgen Ray Society, The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, The
American Medical Association and The Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound.
Dr. Cayea's published writings and lectures
have focused on the areas of the diagnosis and characterization of fetal
abnormalities, fetal lung maturity, computed tomography of the
gastrointestinal system, neurosonology, breast MRI and Open MRI.
